Today (May 3, 2025), Ms. Nusara Kanjanakul, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, revealed that on April 29, 2025, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced the intellectual property protection situation of major trading partners under the Special Section 301 of the US Trade Act for the year 2025, maintaining Thailand's status on the Watch List (WL) as before. The department has prepared to explain to the United States about the development and implement the IP Work Plan to push Thailand out of the WL.
